A Classical Arabic Course for Quran and Islamic Texts
This classical Arabic course focuses on the language skills used to read Quranic and other Islamic texts. Learn how words are formed, how sentences fit together and how grammar helps you follow the meaning of a passage.
Our Quranic Arabic course brings those skills into guided reading practice. If your main goal is accurate Quran recitation, explore our Quran reading and recitation course. Arabic language study gives you a different focus: vocabulary, grammar and understanding the written text.
What You Will Learn in Our Quranic Arabic Course
Arabic Letters and Pronunciation
Start with the alphabet if you are new to Arabic. Recognise letters in different positions, practise their sounds and read words with vowel marks. Your tutor can identify the reading foundations you need before introducing longer passages.
Nahw and Arabic Sentence Structure
Study the roles of nouns, verbs and particles, and practise identifying them in sentences. Work on sentence structure and noun case endings through examples, so the grammar connects to the text you are reading.
Sarf and Verb Forms
Learn how Arabic words are built from roots and patterns. Practise verb conjugation and recognise related word forms, then revisit those patterns in the vocabulary and passages studied in your lessons.
Quranic Vocabulary and Guided Reading
Build vocabulary through selected Quranic verses and Hadith examples. Read with your tutor, discuss the words and sentence structure, and return to passages as your understanding develops.
